Environmental sensitivity

A clean property shouldn’t come at the expense of a healthy environment. At Snohomish Pressure Washing, we believe exterior cleaning can be effective, safe, and environmentally responsible — all at once.

From the cleaning solutions we use to the way we handle runoff, we make thoughtful choices that protect the spaces we work in and the ecosystems around them. We take a path rooted in care, not just convenience.

Bigfoot-tough cleaning. Small town service.

Why environmental sensitivity is part of our service

Environmental care isn’t a bonus feature, it’s baked into how we clean and how we think about things. We choose eco-friendly products, avoid unnecessary runoff, and take extra steps to protect plants, soil, and waterways.

It’s not just about getting things clean — it’s also about being clean.

What customers experience

You can always expect the following things from us:

  • Biodegradable cleaning solutions that break down safely
  • Pre- and post-rinsing to protect landscaping and soil
  • Targeted application techniques that avoid waste
  • Thoughtful communication about treatments and impact

Environmental sensitivity can be rare in this industry

Pressure washing often gets treated like a blunt instrument — lots of water, lots of force, and little thought about where it all goes. Many providers use harsh chemicals, ignore runoff, and leave residue in their wake. We work differently. We balance strong results with smarter methods that protect your property and reduce environmental impact.

It matters to us, and we hope it matters to you

Your driveway might be dirty, but the whole world doesn’t need to pay for it. Our methods help preserve landscaping, prevent pollution, and make it safer for pets, kids, and anyone walking your property. It’s one more way we take better care of both your home and our shared surroundings.

We work to control water flow, and avoid over-applying cleaners. In sensitive areas, we divert or block runoff using damns and pumps to keep the water contained to the property. Our goal is to keep all treatment contained and avoid anything entering the public water system.
Yes, we take care to pre-wet nearby plants, avoid overspray, and use gentle rinsing techniques around garden beds. When we use any cleaner near landscaping, it’s diluted quickly, rinsed thoroughly, and a neutralizer is used where needed to keep the PH of your soil where it should be and reduce risk to your plants.
We recommend use of sodium hypochlorite (bleach) to kill organics such as mold, algae and lichen. We use it in very diluted solution and further dilute it with high-volume water. We use the smallest effective amount, and rinse thoroughly.
Yes! Once the area is dry, it’s completely safe for kids and pets.
