Will pressure washing damage my concrete or brick?
Not when it’s done right. Different surfaces require different approaches. We assess each surface before we start to determine the correct pressure and pre-treatment. For example, older or damaged concrete may require a gentler touch than a newer driveway. Brick and mortar are even more sensitive and can erode or crack under too much pressure, so we adjust accordingly. Our goal is always a thorough clean without any risk to your property. If a surface calls for soft washing or a targeted chemical treatment instead of high pressure, we’ll let you know — and we’ll do it right.
What’s the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away grime, dirt, and stains — perfect for tough surfaces like concrete and stone. Soft washing, on the other hand, uses much lower pressure along with appropriate cleaning solutions to safely clean more delicate surfaces like siding or older brick. For concrete, brick, and stone, we often use pressure washing, but not always at full blast — it depends on the surface and its condition. We tailor the method to each job so you get the best results without damage.
Can you clean oil or grease spots on my driveway?
You better believe it! We offer targeted oil, gas and grease spot cleaning for driveways, garage floors, and similar surfaces. While not every stain can be completely removed (especially older or deeply set ones), we use a specialized biological enzyme that converts petroleum products into CO2 and water — it’s far more effective than the harsh degreasers used by our competitors, and it’s plant-safe and pet-safe.
Do I need to be home while you’re doing the work?
Nope. We’d love to meet you, but as long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and a working water spigot, you don’t need to be around. Many of our customers schedule service while they’re at work or running errands. We always confirm the details ahead of time, and if you’d prefer to be home during the job, that’s fine too. Either way, we treat your property with respect and keep you updated before, during, and after the work.
Will the surface look brand new after cleaning?
We aim for a dramatic improvement, but we like to keep expectations realistic. While cleaning can restore a surface’s original brightness and remove most stains, things like deep oil spots, rust marks, or permanent discoloration may not disappear entirely. Older surfaces with heavy wear or prior damage may still show some signs of aging. How soon can I walk or drive on the surface after cleaning?
